Hawk Fines Recovery Plant

The Hawk Fines Recovery Plant, part of EIW’s end-to-end washing equipment line, is designed to capture fine particles down to 400 mesh from process water and discharge a drip-free, stackable solids material. It can function as a standalone unit or as the first step in a larger tailings management system. The system’s modular design includes a Sump, Pump, Hydrocyclones and a Dewatering Screen, all working together to recover valuable fines that would otherwise be lost to the settling pond.

By recovering these fine solids, the Hawk reduces the volume of material going to the settling pond, minimizing pond cleanout frequency and lowering labor and equipment costs. The recovered fines can even serve as a potential byproduct for pond lining or backfill material, creating an additional revenue stream. The Hawk also helps prepare waste streams for downstream water recycling through Thickeners or Filter Presses.
